"3 Stars of the Night"

Airborne Park Speedway has added an extra incentive for drivers during the 2014 racing season. Airborne will be awarding "Three Stars of the Night," an idea that came from hockey's "Three Stars of the Game."
Drivers who do not reach the podium in their respective races, but who had an outstanding night, will be rewarded. Finishing position is not necessarily a criterion. Heat race and feature performance, however, will be factored in while determining the three stars. Awarded will be one comp pit pass for the third star, two comp pit passes to the second star and four comp pit passes to the first star.
Airborne's announcers, who see every part of each race, will determine the winners. The "Three Stars of the Night" will be announced at the conclusion of the racing card.
