Back to the Track: Open Practice This Saturday at Airborne Park Speedway
PLATTSBURGH, NY – After a long North Country winter, the engines are ready to fire as Airborne Park Speedway kicks off the 2026 season with Open Practice this Saturday.
All divisions are invited to shake down their equipment and get dialed in for the season ahead. All Modified divisions must run a mandatory Hoosier RR 400 tire.
Schedule:
Early Hauler Parking: 11:00 AM
Pit Gates Open: 12:00 PM
Inspection: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Practice: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Admission:
Pit Admission: $30
Grandstands: FREE
On Site:
Elmo’s Speed Supply will be on hand with parts and Hoosier Tires.
Sunoco 94 fuel available at the pump
Drums of Sunoco fuel available for purchase
Concessions:
Pit concessions will be OPEN
Grandstand concessions will be CLOSED
This is the first chance to hit the track in 2026 — don’t miss it.
Then… we go racing.
The 72nd Season Opener takes place Sunday at Airborne Park Speedway — featuring a full card of racing and kicking off what promises to be an exciting season. Be there as we officially drop the green flag on a new year of dirt track action in the North Country!!
