Little League Night presented by Bailey Motor Company
Racing action resumes this Saturday night, 5pm the post time at Airborne Park Speedway. This week will be Little League night presented by Bailey Motor Company. All little league players wearing their team baseball jersey will get in free of charge and will have a chance to win prizes.
In addition, the Ernie’s Disount Tools Sportsman Modifieds will be running twin 25 lap features. Also on tap, Jeffords Steel Renegades and Busch Beer Mini Mods. Pit gates open at 2pm with front gates opening at 3pm. Grandstand prices are $10/Adult, $3/Kids(6-12) and $22/Family(2 Adlt./2 Kids).
Last week, the Sportsman Modified feature went green to checkered . St-Remi, Quebec native, Roger LaBreche led all 35 laps en route to his first checkered flag. Plattsburgh’s Danny Sullivan crossed the line in second, with Plattsburgh driver, Bucko Branham finishing in third. Codie Aubin and Nick Heywood completed the top 5. Morrisonville’s Tylor Terry was hooked up in the Jeffords Steel Renegade’s, as he dove to the inside of Shawn Duquette in turn 3 with 3 laps to go to take the lead. Terry drove home to his first win of 2016. Duquette, Brent Jarvis, Richie Turner and Josh Terry completed the top 5. Josh Laporte of Peru claimed the victory in the Busch Beer Mini Mod class. Dale O’Neil, Ed Bresette, Tim LaFountain and Robert Foley completed the top 5.
