Airborne Legends Night
The Legends of Airborne will be in attendance this Saturday night. Some of the stars and cars from the beginning of Airborne in 1954 until now will be on hand for an evening of exciting short track racing action.
The former drivers will have a VIP get together and picnic to start the evening and some of their stories will be shared throughout the course of the night. One of the Legends will be dusting off the cobwebs and strapping into Bucko Branham’s backup number 20 Sportsman Modified. That driver will be Joe Thomas.
Other Legends that will be in attendance include Henry Jarvis, Jean Paul Cabana, John Rock, Jackie Peterson, Bob Brunell, Beaver Dragon, Mike Perrotte, Jack Liberty, Mike Parsons, Bob Moffat, Punk Branham, Robin Branham, Bobby Dragon and Harold Ormsby.
There will be an opportunity during the night for fans to talk with some of these past drivers and find out some of the stories and exciting races that they were apart of in their career.
Racing starts this Saturday at 7 with gates opening at 4. The Ernie’s Discount Tools Sportsman Modifieds, Jeffords Steel Renegades and Busch Beer Mini Mods will all be in action, plus the Autodrome St-Eustache Limited Late Models. Admission is $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages (6-12) and $25 for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.
