Military Appreciation & Crash-a-Rama

PLATTSBURGH- Two days of excitement are on tap this weekend at Airborne Park Speedway.
Airborne’s regular divisions will be in action on Saturday as a part of our Military Appreciation night presented by Casella and Aarons. The Jeffords Steel Renegades will be taking part in twin 20 lap features to make up for their lost race on July 9. In addition, the Ernie’s Discount Tools Sportsman Modifieds and Busch Beer Mini Mods will run regular distance events. Saturday’s post time is scheduled for 7 with main gates opening at 4. Admission prices are $10 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12 and a family pass of two adults and two kids for $22. All active and retired military members will be admitted free of charge with valid ID.
Sunday’s card will be Airborne Crash-a-Rama, including the $1000 to win Moore Recycling Asphalt Demolition Derby presented by Roto-Rooter and the Leary Restoration $5000 Enduro presented by Poirier’s True Value. Demo heats will begin at 3 with a Power Wheels Demo for kids (limited to the first 30 kids) to kick off the day. Main gates will open at 2 with admission for Sunday’s event is $10 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12 and a family pass of two adults and two kids for $22.
Tech inspection for both Demo and Enduro cars begins at noon. The Demo inspection will close at 2, all cars must be inspected by 2 to participate. Pit gates open at 12:30 for both Demo and Enduro drivers and crews. Any Demo questions should be directed to Buck Brown (518)-420-4899.

-Demo inspection from 12-2 ONLY

-Power Wheels Demo must check in by 2:15 with Donna at pit gate
