Airborne Park Speedway
Practice, Opening Day Postponed
Due to rain Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning, we are unable to practice this evening at Airborne Park Speedway.
The decision has been made to also pull the plug on this weekend’s season opener.
“I don’t want to go without a practice because some of our racers have never turned a lap on dirt and quite frankly the track prep team does not know what the track will do, so safety is the number one priority,” Promoter John Walker said. “It’s certainly frustrating but we can’t control the weather. I don’t want to gamble on the track and put the whole season in jeopardy.”
