Mid-Season Championships at Airborne
PLATTSBURGH – Racing action resumes at Airborne Park Speedway on Saturday, July 8 for Mid-Season Championships presented by Heald Funeral Home.
The Egglefield Ford Modifieds, Fidelis Care Sportsman, Poirier’s True Value Renegades, Busch Beer Mini-Mods and Strictly Stocks will all be in action. Post time for the event is 7 p.m. with grandstands opening at 5. Admission will be $12 for adults with kids ages 12 and under free of charge.
Chris Raabe has three wins and 334 points to lead the Modified division. Fellow Ontario native, Gage Morin is second with one win and 316 points. Mike Perrotte, Jessey Mueller and Jake Scarborough complete the top five in the standings.
Young gun, Connor Cleveland has the Sportsman point lead with one win and 362 points on the season. The five time defending champion, Nick Heywood has one win and is 30 points back from Clevaland. Moïse Pagé, John Scarborough and Adam Gage complete the top five.
Brent Jarvis has the Renegade point lead and has six wins in six attempts. Michael Whalen leads the Mini-Mods with one win on the season. Michael Daniels is the Strictly Stock leader with three wins on the season.
