American/Canadian Sprint Car Clash
PLATTSBURGH – The American/Canadian Sprint Car Clash is set to take the green flag on Sunday, September 23 at 3 p.m., in the event presented by Peru Farm Center and Heald Funeral Home.
The top drivers from the Empire Super Sprints and Sprint Cars of New England tours will do battle for the $4,000 top prize at the end of the day.
In addition, Poirier’s True Value Sportsman will be on hand for a non-points 25-lap event with heats races. Point battles will be decided for the Ernie’s Discount Tools Super Stocks, Mini-Mods and Strictly Stocks.
The Super Stock will run the “Super Stock Special” that was rained out from earlier in the season. The teams will compete in three 15-lap segment races, with combined low finishing total scored as the winner.
General admission prices at the gate on Sunday, September 23 will be $20 for adults with kids ages 12 and under $5.
Advance sale tickets will be available starting on Saturday, September 15 at Poirier’s True Value locations in both Plattsburgh and Chazy. Advance pricing is set at $15.
