Thursday Night Thunder Roars Back to Life at Airborne Park Speedway

Plattsburgh, NY — The engines fire back up under the lights this week as Thursday Night Thunder returns to Airborne Park Speedway for the first Thursday night show of the 2026 season.
Fans can expect a full night of high-speed, side-by-side action featuring the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Limited Sportsman, Renegades, and Mini Stock divisions—a complete program packed with some of the best racing in the North Country.
Thursday nights at Airborne have become a fan favorite, delivering fast-paced racing and a midweek adrenaline rush you won’t find anywhere else in the region.
Pit gates open at 4:00 PM, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 PM, and the green flag dropping at 7:00 PM.
Admission is just $15 for grandstands, and as always, kids 12 and under are FREE.
