Season Opener: 358-Modified 50-Lapper
PLATTSBURGH – Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway’s 2019 racing season takes the green flag this Saturday for a 50-lap, $2,000 to win event for the Egglefield Ford 358-Modifieds. The post time has been moved to 4 p.m. this Saturday.
With cooler temperatures predicted for Saturday night, Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway management has made the decision to move the post time ahead by one hour.
“Everyone is excited to get started, but we don’t want to be here late at night when it gets really cold,” Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway Promoter Robby Knowles said. “We want the environment to be as enjoyable as possible for the fans, drivers and staff, therefore we moved post time up to 4 p.m.”
In addition, the Poirier’s True Value Sportsman, Hartson Total Opening Pro Stocks, Ernie’s Discount Tools Super Stocks, Chris Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stocks and Novice Sportsman will all be in action.
Admission prices are set at $15 for adults, with kids age 12 and under free of charge.
