Another Saturday night of short track racing action is scheduled at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway for 7 P.M. on July 6.
The Ernie’s Discount Tools Super Stocks will compete in a 50-lap Super Stock Shootout presented by Peru Farm Center. In addition, the Egglefield Ford 358-Modifieds, Poirier’s True Value Sportsman Modifieds, Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stocks and Novice Sportsman will all be in action.
The Super Stock Shootout will consistent of qualifying heat races and two 25-lap segments. After the first 25-lap segment, teams will return to the pit area and will be allowed to work on their cars while another feature is going on. The winner of the first segment will receive a $75 bonus on track at the flag stand.
Regular distance heat and feature races will be run for the 358-Mods, Sportsman, Strictly Stocks and Novice Sportsman divisions.
Admission prices are set at $12 for adults with kids ages 12 and under free of charge. Grandstand gates will open at 5 P.M.
