Back-to-School Night at Airborne
Saturday night will have a Back-to-School theme at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway in the event presented by Eagle Country 97.5 and Casella Waste Management.
All kids in attendance will receive a ticket for a chance to win a backpack for the upcoming school year. Backpacks were donated by drivers, crews and staff. Billie Jo Branham is spearheading the giveaway and will be receiving help from various wives and girlfriends of racers.
The Egglefield Ford 358-Modifieds, Poirier’s True Value Sportsman Modifieds, Ernie’s Discount Tools Super Stocks, Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stocks and Novice Sportsman will be in action for regular distance events. Additionally, the DIRT Modified Nostalgia Tour will be in town for their second appearance of the season.
Post time for the event is 6 P.M. Grandstand gates will open at 4 and admission prices are set at $12 for adults, while kids ages 12 and under are free of charge.
