September 7 Racing Card Cancelled
Due to an unfavorable forecast, Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway management has decided to cancel the Lake City Fire Equipment DIRTcar Sportsman & Pro Stock Series event for Saturday, September 7.
With several of the DIRTcar Sportsman and Pro Stock Series teams traveling extra distances, the decision was made at noon to cancel the program. Rain is expected in the greater Plattsburgh area between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
This marks the end of the 2019 racing season for all of Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway’s regular racing divisions. This season we successfully completed 18 out of 21 scheduled racing events. We want to thank all of the race teams that supported us this season. We will be reaching out to teams with banquet information.
Next weekend the Mohawk International Raceway and Cornwall Motor Speedway have big events scheduled and the following weekend is Albany-Saratoga Speedway’s three-day event. With these events around us there is no place to reschedule the program. Additionally, the DIRTcar Sportsman Series heads to Brighton Speedway on September 20 and 21.
The final event of the season is Sunday, September 29 at 2 p.m. for the Poirier’s True Value Enduro 125 presented by Rene’s Repair.
