Saturday Practice Postponed, Inspection Still On
Airborne Speedway General Manager, Rich Walker, has announced that the Saturday, April 24 practice has been postponed and moved to Wednesday, April 28 from 6pm to 8pm.
“With the inclement weather the last couple days, it has put us behind the 8-ball and hasn’t allowed us to work on the racing surface and track vehicles,” Walker said. “We feel it is important to provide a safe and quality surface for our racers and we are going to take a couple days of good weather to get things where they need to be.”
The safety inspection will be available from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, April 24. A safety inspection will also be available at the practice on Wednesday, April 28.
Gates will open at 4:30 on Wednesday. Admission will be $20 for anyone entering the pit area.
- All cars must go through a safety inspection prior to hitting the track.
- Registration forms and licenses will be available at the track.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO ATTEND PRACTICE ON WEDNESDAY?
- Pass a Covid-19 questionnaire screening when signing into the pit area.
- Wear a mask at all times on the speedway grounds.
- Stay 6 feet away from other groups and parties.
- The main grandstand will be closed.
- $20 for everyone that wants to enter the pits.
